Last Minute Opportunity for Chama
One of our members, Papalote Press wanted to know if a communal table would be available for publishers/authors who couldn’t go to Chama to have books. So we did it and the opportunity will be a benefit for the Chama Book Fiesta and Reading New Mexico.
These are the rules:
To take your books to Chama it will cost $10 per title. They must be marked because someone else is selling them. We highly advise a discount and don’t put the price sticker over the real price. Removable stickers are best and they are at Staples, Office Max or Office Depot. There must be ten books per title reserved and they must have an invoice for drop off and a synopsis or sell sheet so the Reading New Mexico people can sell your book intelligently. You will get 100% of the price MINUS any books that are sold on a credit card - the credit card fee will be taken out of the sale about 3%.
Pick up of books is the New Mexico Book Co-op lunch, May 22, at the Golden Corral or tentatively Clearlight in Santa Fe on Saturday May 23. Return of books is June 6, 12-2pm at 925 Salamanca NW in Albuquerque. Books not picked up will be given to a library. No refunds on fee.
