Book Weekend in Chama, NM

The New Mexico Book Co-op has organized a Book Weekend In Chama,New Mexico, in 2005, 2006, and 2007. Along with book signings for authors, there will be a number of workshops scheduled for book industry people at this year's book festival.

7-8pm Max Evans Book Signing at the Chama Community Center

8-10pm Screening, Hi-Lo Country



Saturday, June 2nd

9-11am - Max Evans Book Signing at Cookin’ Books

9-1pm - Chama Book Fair at Cookin’ Books includes hot air balloons, New Mexico Tourism Van & arts and Crafts show, Jicarilla Apache dances and arts sale

2:30-4:30pm Author Seminar with Slim Randles at the Elkhorn Lodge Pavilion

3-5pm General Public screening of Hi-Lo Country at the Chama Community Center

6:30-8:30pm EHL Chuckwagon Supershow at Elkhorn Lodge Pavilion


Sunday, June 3rd

Participants on their own - suggestion, ride the Cumbres & Toltec Train!

Also, Chama shopping, hot air balloon rides, Jicarillia buffalo feeding & tour, horseback riding, hiking, fishing, ATV tours, Tierra Wools, Ghost Ranch, art galleries, and more!
