Holiday Book & Craft Fair was held at St. John's Cathedral in Albuquerque, Saturday, December 8, 2007. This was a chance to get your books, crafts, or both in the hands of Christmas shoppers at an unheard of price. The fair was open to the public from 10am to 4pm and there was no charge to come and shop. There was free and ample parking and the atmosphere was good for families or those who wanted to get the perfect gift.

Annual Holiday Book and Craft Fair on Saturday, December
8th
, 2007 from 10:00 am–4:00 pm at the Cathedral Church of St.
John, 318 Silver SW (downtown at 3rd
and Silver), sponsored by NM Book Coop and the Cathedral
Church of St. John.
POLICIES
& PROCEDURES

Spaces approximately 8’x 10’ are available for $15.00, if
you provide your own table.
♣
A limited number of tables are available from the Cathedral
for a registration of $30.00.
♣
The Cathedral will provide 2 chairs for each table, at no
cost.
♣
You may share a table. Each person at the table must sign
the registration and list items to be sold.
♣
All items should be works of the author/publisher or
handcrafted by the crafter. We ask that
no baked goods
be sold at your booth.
♣
This is a family event. NM Book Coop and the Cathedral
reserve the right to refuse any entry.
♣
Individual participants are responsible for their own
income reporting and taxes.
♣
Special needs, such as wall space, electricity, etc., will
be met on a first-come, first-served basis, as available.
♣
Participants are asked to provide one item per booth for
the raffle drawing.
♣
Each participant is responsible for his or her own display
set up and take down.
♣
Booths
set up must be completed by 9:45 am
on December 8th. Take down may begin immediately upon the
close of the show at 4:00 pm, and must be completed
Saturday evening, December 8th , by 5:00 pm.
♣
Holiday Book and Craft Fair, (including NM Book Coop,
Cathedral Church of St. John, and individuals involved)
cannot accept liability for loss, damage, or theft of work
or display materials, or for personal injury.
♣
Proceeds from the registration and raffle will benefit
Cathedral outreach to Washington Middle School.
If you would like to reserve space(s), please send a check
to the Cathedral Church of St. John, Attn: Cindy
Davis/Holiday Shoppe along with the enclosed, signed
contract before deadline of November 15, 2007.
Save $5 with early registration, if received before October
1, pay only $10/space ($25 if the Cathedral supplies the
table).
We will send you a receipt to acknowledge your reservation.
Registration refunds can be made only if you cancel your
reservation at least two weeks before the show, and if your
space can be filled. Registration will be accepted on a
first-come, first-served basis. When all spaces have been
filled, a waiting list will be started. If there are
cancellations, spaces will be filled from the waiting list.
NM Book Coop and the Cathedral will be promoting this event
in church announcements, newspapers, and in other
publications. Early registrants may have their names used
in publicity. You are encouraged to participate in the
advertising by sending press releases and posting
announcements as well. If you know of any other
authors/publishers/crafters who might wish to be a part of
the Holiday Shoppe for Authors and Crafters, please share
this information with them.
